The Outlaw Now Available on Vinyl

We are pleased to announce that our full-length album, The Outlaw, is now available on vinyl! Some of you may have seen the pictures we posted on our Facebook page or talked to us about it in person. This is a release that excites us greatly, as it’s been a long process, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the end result. Here are some details:

The LP is a joint release between Red Beard Records, Enjoy the Ride Records, Collective Confusion Records, and Positive Influence. It was pressed in an extremely limited run of 500 records, with four color variants:

Tavern Floor – exclusively available through the Collective Confusion online store.

California Gold & Texas Oil – exclusively available through the Enjoy the Ride online store and in select Hot Topic stores in the Midwest.

Barrel Smoke – exclusively available at They’ve Shot Flanigan shows (or out of the trunks of our cars).

Blood – the special Kickstarter variant, exclusively available to those who pledged to our Kickstarter project.

Speaking of Kickstarter, if you were a backer for our project, you can expect to receive your record and any other awesome stuff you pledged for in the next couple weeks. We thank you again for your faith in us, and we thank you for your patience.

Of course, a project this involved could not have been completed without some serious help from some seriously great people. We’d like to thank Casey Cole of Red Beard Records for the HUGE amount of work that he put into this release. We can safely say that, if it weren’t for him, this LP would just be something we’d be talking about maybe doing someday. More big thanks goes to Stephen Schappler for re-mastering this bad boy for the vinyl format, and making it sound like a million bucks. Thanks also to Seth Henderson, who recorded and produced the record for us, Trevor Fallis, who did just about whatever we needed him to, Anton Payne and Shane Pribble for their generous support of this project, the folks at Enjoy the Ride, Collective Confusion, Hot Topic, and Pirates Press, and, once again, our generous and generally awesome fans and friends and family who backed our Kickstarter project, bought something from us at a show, or just showed somebody one of our songs.

Of course, if for some reason you haven’t heard the record yet, you can listen to it in its entirety here.

So if you don’t have a copy of the LP, kindly get one before they’re gone.

Zachariah, Gabriel, Brad, and Mason

Since 2002, Indianapolis-based THEY’VE SHOT FLANIGAN have been tirelessly writing, recording and touring, establishing themselves as a strong and consistent presence in the Midwestern rock and roll scene. With a sound that is deeply rooted in classic rock and heavily influenced by contemporary independent and progressive artists, the band makes music that is simultaneously dark and catchy, heavy and melodic, intense and contemplative. “They are adept songwriters,” writes Louise Sinclair of Girl At The Show, “with the kind of mature, put-together sound you’d expect from a major artist.” THEY’VE SHOT FLANIGAN have released two EPs and a full-length album, and are currently recording a new 10-song concept album, about the life and death of a gunslinger, with engineer Seth Henderson of Always Be Genius studios. The album is anticipated to be released in 2011. Booking/other contact:
